Generative AI Weekly - June 27, 2024
More on Claude, the first ad made with SORA, user interface improvements, and Figma AI.
This week:
- More on Claude 3.5 Sonnet. Outside of using custom GPTs and certain file-based tasks, Claude is getting 80% of my personal LLM usage.
- Artifacts feels like the beginning of a step forward in UX - one of my favorite themes for LLM development.
- Introducing Figma AI. I love this new feature set - it feels like assisted AI versus yet another image generator. PS: Figma also just launched Slides.
- Another example - Otto - brings LLMs nativley into a spreadsheet UI.
- An agent marketplace.
- "First Ever Brand Film Created with SORA." It feels very "uncanny valley" to me, yet its hard to imagine a world without wholesale adoption for creative development in the near future.
- "llama.ttf is a font file which is also a large language model and an inference engine for that model."
- A thread of research regarding use of context windows.
- "We've trained a model, based on GPT-4, called CriticGPT to catch errors in ChatGPT's code output."
